Kayla Higbee, LPCC, is a Nationally Certified Counselor with a passion for walking alongside her clients through their journey. Kayla has more than 13 years experience working with children and their families in a variety of settings. Through all of her work she seeks to gain understanding and build connections. She obtained her Masters in Counseling and Human Services from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and is committed to continually learning and growing in order to meet her clients needs. She is continuing Theraplay® Training and additional Play Therapy trainings. Kayla uses play-based modalities as well as additional modalities to provide space for each individual client to grow. “Each of us is unique and we all have our own journey to go through,” with that in mind she seeks to understand each client and family in building treatment plans. Kayla is seeing clients in person and via telehealth at this time.
